William Hsu

B.Sc. Financial Economics · University of Toronto

I'm an undergraduate at the University of Toronto Mississauga, completing a Specialist in Financial Economics with a Minor in Mathematical Sciences. I currently serve as a Teaching Assistant for ECO227 (Foundations of Econometrics), where I develop tutorial materials, lead sections, and support students through rigorous quantitative content.

With over 300 hours of tutoring experience, I know how students get stuck — and more importantly, how to get them unstuck. My sessions focus on building genuine conceptual understanding alongside the exam technique that actually produces results.

How Sessions Work

01
Diagnose First

The free trial session is used to understand exactly where you are — not just your grade, but the specific gaps and misconceptions holding you back.

02
Build the Why

Every technique gets explained from first principles. Understanding why something works means you can reconstruct it under exam pressure.

03
Practise Deliberately

Targeted problem sets that address your specific weak points — not generic exercises. Progress is tracked and sessions adapt as your understanding grows.
